Toolbar quirk
Still love the new moving toolbar, but I’ve noticed some odd behavior with it....

Still love the new moving toolbar, but I’ve noticed some odd behavior with it....
It seems like the communities list that comes up has less entries than I would expect it to, is there a max amount of communities that can show up, or a different type of filter? For example, I’m subscribed to the Summit community, but it only shows if I do a search for it....
This release adds many new features to the app. The main feature being “guest mode”....
I can’t seem to find it and it’s really irritating when I have to click twice everytime I run it. Thanks all!
Preparing tomorrow’s post let me screenshot another repeated issue I have making long posts....
I’ll give this release a proper-er title in the release post. This post is just to track the random stuff I did during the business trip. I’ll work on more stuff for Summit once I’m home....
When I switch to All, my default sort is by New, but if it is the first time I go to All after opening the app, the sort is kinda random....
This update adds a feature I requested. Which is the ability to send an image to Summit for later use. Images that are send to Summit can be added to a post or comment like images on the device....
Nav bar buttons are customizable, but there are only 5 the user can choose from. I’d like to have a button for my profile in the nav bar (for example: I don’t need the history button), but at the moment there’s no way to add it.
This update adds a feature I wanted: Save image for later! It allows you to send an image to Summit and have Summit hold on to it. You can then later use the image on a post or comment like you would any other image....
It would be great to be able to search by keywords amongst the comments in a post. Right now there is the function to navigate from comment thread to comment thread on a post. I could picture the search can also be triggered by the floating action button similarly.
This is a small-ish release. The main change in this release is adding a way to input a reason when performing certain mod/admin actions. See the full changelog for details....
I moderate a community that requires me to add a reason on why the posts were removed. It would be nice to have this option in Summit, so I don’t have to go into the Lemmy web interface every time.
Just going to implement as many of the user requests as I can until I have a good amount done and go for a release....
Happy 2024 everyone! Here is a release to kick the year off. This release features all of the requests I’ve gotten during the holidays. There isn’t an exact theme for this release and the majority of the changes are minor. However there are a lot of changes....
Too much as changed since Roadmap V2 was created. So we are starting fresh again to clean up the clutter!...
There were a lot of small changes proposed during the break, so many that I will gather them all up and implement them together for a single release....
I don’t know since which version there’s this problem, but some buttons are white when I have the light mode activated (in these screenshots Home and Inbox icons are missing) Home icon missingInbox icon missing
When performing some mod actions (remove comment, remove post, ban user) in a web browser there is a field to enter a reason for the action. This reason is included in the modlog. Summit doesn’t prompt for a reason; it simply performs the mod action. Can the ability to enter a reason be added to the roadmap?...
Just a quick update post since I haven’t made a new release all year....
I’m new to Summit, but not new to Lemmy. In other clients, I’ve subscribed to several clusters of communities. I’d love to be able to group them into multi-communities in Summit....
I just started using Summit, coming from Liftoff that seems abandoned and does not support Lemmy 0.19....
Thank you for making this app! It feels like an adequate alternative to liftoff, but I am having some (usability) problems. Could be a “me”-problem, though, since I am still getting the hang of the app and also the wall of settings it provides....
When in Summit settings, searching for “mu” causes an immediate app crash to home screen as soon as the U is typed. No option to report issues or submit feedback....
Just a lot of polish and a few fulfilled feature requests. This update was supposed to be quick and improve the look and feel of the app as well as knock out some user requests but some of the changes took a lot more effort than budgeted....
