Hi everyone. Just came after my third party app stopped working. I live in Sydney since 2017. Feels like home now.

Which third party app were you using?

I’ve only been here a couple weeks. Sounds like Reddit is getting worse and worse so hopefully more people make the move to Lemmy. It’s pretty cool here.

I was using joey for Reddit. It was perfect for what I wanted.

Couple of weeks on Lemmy. I vaguely remember moving (back to) Sydney in 2015. Yeah I ended up here after Slide for Reddit died. I now have Voyager, Jerboa, Thunder, Liftoff, Connect and a very early alpha of Slide for Lemmy… not sure which one will win me over in the long run although I suspect Jerboa.

Is !sydney just for Sydney stuff or can it be NSW stuff too? If it is NSW stuff too then maybe the mods can add a note on the sidebar to let folks know that NSW related posts and comments are welcome.

Having a coffee, trying to get my partner out of bed so we can go out. Just started sprinkling here but I want to go out anyway.

We’re always behind on the laundry. Wish our block of flats had communal laundry for the days when we could really use a dryer.
