@janriemer It looks quite cool, but I'm not sure syntax is really TypeScript's main weakness? For me personally, TS just feels more like suggestions than guardrails. I don't have confidence that I'm eliminating footguns by satisfying the compiler. That looseness is also part of its success story, I suppose (incremental adoption, escape hatches).

@janriemer I wouldn't put too many eggs in that basket. Some pretty cool features, but it feels like it might be CoffeScript all over again

I just think it's super cool and I love transpilers/compilers, so...😄

But I would never use this in production - maybe in some hobby project or something, just to try it and expand one's horizon. 😉
