Voyager sure helped the transition for many of us moving off Reddit....
I just want to say thank you for Voyager. This has become my go-to Lemmy app on Android for several months now and I’m loving the new features and fixes we’re seeing with each release. Your dedication and hard work has not gone unnoticed!
Hi, I usually browse voyager and like to share some funny memes. I’m used to browsing inside Firefox through wefwef.app there to share I long press an image and click Share as an image. on PWA I d’ont have share as an image in that menu. I tried the share button but it just download an image on the phone instead of opening...
I am currently logged into my account on lemmy.world. I’d like to view the home page of literature.cafe (or any other instance), view all the communities there etc....
For some videos, if I lock my phone during playback, they will appear on my Lock Screen to be able to resume playback, this seems normal enough… but even after closer Voyager (I am using the native app), the video remains on the Lock Screen....
Domain filtering helps users block well known propaganda and disinformation websites, as well as other sites that may be offensive or otherwise harmful....
I only just noticed this option for sorting my feed. I do have a reasonably curated selection of large and small and using “scaled” gives the results I would expect across them all....
I love this app but have one issue: web links open to a blinding white screen for a second, then they don’t use dark mode like the rest of the system (this is on iOS). I would love to be able to use my own browser for links instead of the built in one, and if that’s not possible, have reader mode set as default (it displays...
I understand if this is beyond your control, but I’m comparing my experience in Voyager with my experience in every other iOS app....
Using Android, latest version of the app. I use a bluetooth keyboard to type on my phone when I’m at home. When ever I have Voyager open when it connects or disconnects from the bluetooth keyboard, Lemmy refreshes back to the default view and sorting order, even if i’m creating a post....
I always have trouble figuring out how to share because of this weird icon. Can we have the default android share icon please?
On android, I use duckduckgo app for web searching. I’ve been using voyager for a few weeks now and like it. Since yesterday, every single link I click on when doing a ddg search, the “open in app” banner pops up saying it can open in voyager....
Hi there! I’ve received a few requests, so I’ve created a Patreon page for Voyager....
I found a massive quality of life improvement this morning with Mastodon Redirect and it makes interacting with Mastodon links found outside my Mastodon app so much more easier to interact with. I was wondering if there are any plans to implement this. I spoke with the dev of Lemmy Redirect and he said the reason Voyager isn’t...
Voyager is an amazing app but to me it lacks one feature. A client like Thunder has this feature where you can control the zoom level by double tapping, holding, then swiping up or down an image. It’s great for single handed use....
The ACCOUNTS title has been capitalised while every other title on other screen has the first letter in uppercase only. This only happens when choosing the android theme. Choosing the apple theme seems to be fine....
Went several times to reply to a post and it kept adding and editing a previous reply that I had made in another community. Anyone else experiencing this?
I think Lemmy and the federation stand on its own and references to Reddit should be removed. Lemmy can grow organically on its own.
Is there a way to filter or block communities from appearing temporarily, without unsubscribing from them? Preferably with a toggle?...
Guys...
It looks like I have to click into the post in order to see the submitter. But submitters are visible on community feed.
When I copy the URL for an instance to paste it, it includes the protocol. But Voyager says it’s not a valid instance. Take off the https:// and it works fine. Seems like Voyager should handle this better.
