Yawweee877h444,

I hate this fucker so much.

Is it really this, or fucking trump in November? These are our options? The universe is fucking cruel.

Why can’t both biden and trump just die of old age already.

Yawweee877h444,

Yeah I mostly agree with you. Except there was plot and lore in 2016, it was just minimalist as you said, but more importantly it was executed really well. It had the “doom” feel. In addition to awesome gameplay and soundtrack.

Eternal was great for the gameplay, and even an improvement in some ways. The lore and plot was ridiculous though. Way overdone, didn’t feel like doom.

I say go back to 2016 style with the gameplay improvements of eternal.

Yawweee877h444,

Nah my comparison is to 2016. I just thought it was overdone in eternal to the point of silliness. Subjective opinion obviously.

It wasn’t all bad though. The introduction to the “evil twin” doomguy was kinda fun. So if no DLC you missed that at least.

Yawweee877h444,

Yep, agree to agree here. I just thought the gameplay improvements in eternal were fun. But I agree the way you put it, kind of a departure from what doom should be.

Yawweee877h444,

Or our businesses don’t want this type of competition? An affordable and reliable sub 10k EV? This would hurt our businesses and billionaire class, no?

If I needed a new car, and had a 10k EV as an option, it’d be my first choice to look into.

Por que no los dos, though.

Yawweee877h444,

Awww, capitalist oligarchy not to your liking? Eat cake, pleb.

Yawweee877h444,

No. We can still pay workers much better and make much more lower priced affordable models.

Stop giving the CEOs, upper management, investors, etc., millions and millions of dollars. I don’t care what anyone says.

We can have the sub 10k priced EV, or even less, like China has. They can still make money on luxury/performance “status” models.

This is all about keeping extreme wealth for the extreme wealthy. Wall Street, etc. Full stop.

We can have very well payed workers and much cheaper yet still quality vehicles.

Yawweee877h444,

Your speculation doesn’t hold water by any means.

The foundation of this entire fiasco is that there are special access programs getting tax funds and they’re not disclosing details to congress or the executive branch. This is part of why Grusch was investigating these programs, and became a whistleblower.

I wouldn’t bet a dollar they’d tell trump anything, or any pres for that matter.

Yawweee877h444,

I still remain logically skeptical and also want hard evidence, but a lot of what you say doesn’t make any sense.

He went under oath as a whistleblower. Book writing and doing this as a cash grab makes absolutely zero sense. If he’s lying or making shit up, he’s toast. He seems to know and follow the law way too well for some fancy grift.

The entire reason he’s not “showing evidence” is because it’s all classified and he’ll be crucified. You know this, which means you are being deliberately disingenuous.

Imo he’s done his job. The ball is now in the court of our ridiculously flawed and corrupt government. Why don’t they grab all the 40 people Grusch interviewed? Why don’t they forcefully get the answers and evidence Grusch has?

We know. It’s classified. Need to know. National security.

Yawweee877h444,

Meh, I’m kinda suspicious of even replying to you as your arguments are really silly, and your probably just a troll, but,

People still lie though.

I think this is already the consensus among people who at least didn’t believe in UFOs before hearing about him.

Honestly, what argument are you even making here? If he’s lying under oath, severe criminal penalties. His claims are based on evidence he was given by people he investigated/interviewed. You’re saying he’s lying about it? For what, a book deal? You are very much grasping at straws here.

Pathologies can be sneaky like that.

Zero evidence of “pathologies”. All signs point to him being very mentally stable, thus far. You’re just making stuff up now.

You can’t know that, you’re just wildly guessing. It’s a convenient cop-out for bullshitters.

What are you even talking about? This is what’s being reported. I’m only as good as the information I’m given. What you’re trying to say is he’s lying, he has no info, nothing is classified? You have zero evidence to back up your claim that he’s lying.

I only agree with you only that I want hard evidence before I just “believe aliens are here”.

Because I believe it’s all made up.

Very simply, you don’t have evidence “it’s all made up”. Obviously. Anyway you seem like you’re just having fun being the antagonist troll as none of your arguments are compelling.

I find the whole situation interesting and want real answers regardless of the outcome.

Yawweee877h444,

I dont think what you’re saying is accurate.

“you don’t have the evidence to prove a negative”

I dont think im asking for this. The poster I’m responding to is making very specific claims. Very definitively, that Grusch is lying, either for a money grab grift in some form, or due to “pathologies”. For these specifics I would like some evidence, of which there is none.

If OP would leave it simply at “I don’t believe it because I haven’t seen enough evidence to convince me”, then we would have a lot more in common as I’m in the same boat! I also want to see evidence regardless of which conclusion it leads to.

However, where we differ might be that given all the current info the public has, there is enough to take it seriously and desire more investigation. There’s too much now to automatically say it’s “absolutely untrue, and all BS and lies.”

Yawweee877h444,

This argument is significantly weaker than most people who voice it are aware, imo.

Our current understanding of the universe, physics, space travel, etc., leads us to believe your statement. The universe is too big, travel takes too long, we’re limited by things like the speed of light, and whatever fuel/energy is required to travel through space.

Speculating here obviously, an intelligent species that is significantly more advanced than us could have a much better understanding of physics and the universe, to an extent that we couldn’t even comprehend. This is the definition of “more advanced”. They could be a little more advanced, or so far beyond us that we could never even comprehend their abilities or motives for anything. Kinda like how you will never be able to teach a chimpanzee calculus, it’s brain simply isn’t capable of learning the concepts, ever, no matter how much time you have to try.

We’ve only really had advanced applied science (according to us, since it’s all we know) for like the last 100 years or so? Splitting the atom, the transistor, etc.

Imagine a species that kept advancing for 100s of thousands or 10s of millions of years? Traveling galaxies could be easy for them, we simply don’t know.

My reasoning above is also similar why I feel like the Fermi peridox is really unsatisfying. We can’t see aliens emitting technosignatures like light or other electromagnetic radiation, or heat signatures or whatever. We’re thinking like humans, expecting to see things exactly as we do them. If an alien species is so far beyond us, they could think communication via photons and electromagnetic radiation is archaic, etc.

Yawweee877h444,

Is there a motive?? I didn’t see any mention in the article other than someone else asking the same question I have, why the hell did he do it?

Yawweee877h444,

Why bother living.

I guess maybe if the extreme overwork overtime is a means to an end by getting money, retire early, get experience to find a more reasonable job… I guess maybe some can justify it. Maybe. There’s probably some who feel forced due to desperate circumstances.

Idk. I hate this overworked overtime culture.

Yawweee877h444,

It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.

Yawweee877h444,

How many times will they just keep letting him slide? I’ll actually be way more surprised if he suffers any real repercussions.

Yawweee877h444,

Interesting. “Sources have told Liberation Times…”. I’m curious who the sources are.

Regardless, it seems like Grusch is simply trying to make sure he doesn’t violate any clearance related laws before giving info to AARO/Kirkpatrick, and making sure first they actually have the authority/approval to even hear/view the info he has. According to the article AARO doesn’t even have full jurisdiction over all this especially the interesting stuff, like non human tech/bodies.

If this is all true, it seems like attempt at entrapment, hopefully this isn’t true and I’m just thinking silly. Wouldn’t AARO/Kirkpatrick want to agree in being diligent in going through the whole process legally? Seems to me like if they all fuck up, Grusch would be the one to get crucified.

I guess it’s possible AARO is just ignorant, and all the classified stuff really is that complicated. Could the high level agencies be watching this like a hawk hoping Grusch slips up with AARO, so they can get him and drown all this? Maybe I’m just cynical.

Sounds also like some of the other “first hand witnesses” are in the same boat, just want to follow the law and be careful, which obviously makes tons of sense. Glad Grusch is really following the correct process carefully.

If this is all true, we should have even less respect for AARO now.

Yawweee877h444,

X is a single letter most commonly used as a variable in algebra and other math courses. Also commonly used for loops when writing code.

Hyundai wouldn’t be dumb enough to name one of their cars a single letter. Even back when Toyota had the Scion brand, they named their models the xA and xB, because naming anything a single letter is fucking retarded. Do we not have language in our society still? Must we revert to monke and just make single syllable noises?

I say, companies all around should start rebranding as single letters. Apple will be A. AMD will also be A. Samsung S, Starbucks also S. This would be hilarious to show how dumb Elon is.

Yawweee877h444,

Geez they’re literally talking like nazis, no? Aren’t they actually doing things like the nazis did too? This is all like a sick horrific joke. The jews are now like the nazis were. How oxymoronic can you get.

Yawweee877h444,

I agree with you in that I hate his politics. However, you have to recognize that what he’s saying about the UAP topic is inherently bipartisan. He’s said on multiple occasions that it’s not specifically about aliens, but about all the millions of dollars being spent on these SAPs that aren’t answerable to congress or the executive branch. This should be important to everyone.

But regardless, how is this going to get him votes anyway? Especially MAGA right wing votes? I feel like they mostly think the UAP stuff is stupid or don’t care or whatever, I just don’t see the connection how UAP disclosure would ever get him votes. Unless you think more moderate or left leaning people would turn and vote for him, solely because of what he’s doing on UAP disclosure? I find that hard to believe. Personally I could never vote for a republican like him no matter how much he supports UAP stuff.

Idk. I don’t like him but still think his comments on the topic are interesting. We don’t have much else to go on when it comes to the classified briefings they’re getting.

Yawweee877h444,

Yeah honestly I think your idea here is much more probable. If the alien stuff is real, they’re going to want to be able to own it and profit from it, first and foremost. It makes some sense that if they still can’t figure it out or reverse engineer it (not unlikely right?), then continue to keep it secret until they have full control of it.

I keep thinking back to the removal of the eminent domain over non-human technology that was removed from the Schumer amendment. Why the hell remove it, or am i missing something? I feel like that should’ve gotten way more people taking this seriously. What are they trying to say, “we don’t have alien stuff now, but if we ever do get some in the future, we want to keep it!”. BS.

Also my cynical take on the public waking up from this is probably unlikely, at least short term, an if at all long term. Even if we got full disclosure, maybe a few weeks of headlines, water cooler conversations at the office, then back to normal. I think I just want something like this to wake the public up to things like wealth inequality and stuff but in actuality it probably wouldn’t.
