waist deep in "lowww-impact", "green web", low-tech, "low-code", humane tech, and solarpunk design philosophy and praxis lately and it's got me kinda optimistic—excited even—about the future of the web
@frankmorrow problem is, even if 1000s of devs do "green web", all it takes is another big company throwing some LLM/AI shit on their product to immediately undo any benefit
@frankmorrow ok, maybe not "undone", more "completely overshadow by orders of magnitude" ... i mean sure, every little helps, but the big problem is fundamental and systemic
