I'm looking at it as another turning of the Wheel - the Third Age is the same when you step back and look at the overall Pattern, but when you get down into the threads of this new turning, things look different.

I absolutely cannot watch s2 after what they did with s1, like there's an entire book about The Great Hunt of the Horn, and after hardly mentioning it in the show, they just pull it out from under a chair?!
@Cat_LeFey Yeaaaah. I really REALLY loathe how they're sexifying WoT. If they keep that up too much it will probably have me drop the show. Season 1 wasn't as bad, but S2 has been... yeah.
But there are parts that are so good!
@consumableJoy Yeah I had that same feel with season 1. I'm only like 3 eps into S2. There are some HUGE divergences, and then some parts which are bang on.
@MsHearthWitch This is where I landed on it. I am absolutely here for anything remotely near high fantasy, and so if this is what I get, this is what I get lol.
