Great game from a #Spurs perspective. Fantastic entertainment and a lot of positives to take away from the game. It's all coming together very, very quickly for us and the new manager.
On to the next game against Sheffield United on the 16th...
We've looked so much more dangerous with Son at number 9. Solomon has also had a great game in his first start.
I know we're not playing City or anything, but this is the most dangerous #Spurs have looked on attack with this setup than in other games with #Richarlison at 9.
Good game so far! #Romero's goal dampened my feelings of the half being a little disappointing, since we had so much of the ball in #Burnley's third without capitalizing.
Lots of encouraging signs! Feeling very positive for the second half. Hoping to capitalize even more on our possession in the final third and get more shots off.
This doesn't feel anything like the Fulham game. 😅
Enjoying this pressure for #Spurs. #Burnley really struggling to handle our quality in attack. Need to get more shots off on target though rather than trying to walk it in.
Gotta capitalize on this though. A second goal isn't far away if we keep this up.
Team released from Spurs official for the match against #Burnley
Interesting that #Richarlison is on the bench, I think because he's carrying a knock? Either way, I'm actually excited to see how we start out with a different look up front. Pretty big opportunity for #ManorSolomon in his first start.
I'm worried about it. They're a bit of a bogey team at Turf Moor, and they've got something to prove. We should have too much for them, but it's still early days for Angeball and results so far have fallen our way rather than been emphatic wins. We could easily have been looking at two losses at least at this stage, so I'm not overconfident. Let's see.
