@jerry@davep it's a highly fraught task to moderate in such situations. Yet the fediverse isn't some magical realm where humanity has suddenly figured out how to treat people fairly and with respect. It would be amazing if it were, but it would also be something that has never been achieved anywhere else.
So if you are in charge of an instance, dont take the criticism to heart. Do what you think is best, and remember that it is better than any non-fedi socials would have done in the same situation.
