After I posted the #Frisky Sprint yesterday, @vwdasher said he thought it should be in a quirky sixties beach movie. As it happens, there are several vehicles that could be classed as sixties beach cars. I’ll take a look at some of them over the next few days, starting today with this #Fiat 600 ‘Jolly’ featuring a Surrey-style fringed canopy, which was converted by Ghia. Today, a thoroughly modern take on the concept of a tiny three-wheeled coupé - the Estonian Nobe GT100, which reminds me inescapably of yesterday’s #Meadows#Frisky. But the two cars couldn’t be more different under the skin, with the #Nobe being powered by electric hub motors in all three wheels. I’m not sure of the current status of the Nobe project but the car itself was getting a lot of attention when I saw it at #FullyChargedLive at Farnborough in 2022. #WeirdCarMastodon#davidsdailycar
