We've got our penultimate video from #FullyChargedLive to share today, and it's one about a new type of electric bicycle motor that freewheels - and a company that's been building electric bicycles for 20+ years!
Join us in 15 minutes for the live premiere of one of our favorite videos from #FullyChargedLive! A great team of young people from #UBC in Canada, who are all part of the #UBCFormulaElectric team, and are using their knowledge to get placements in companies like Tesla! ! https://youtu.be/DVv7I2bvpb8

My previous two posts featured a Volkswagen T2 camper and an early electric T2. Today, both characteristics come together in this modern T2 ‘bay window’ electric camper conversion. The base vehicle is a Brazilian-market Bay and the conversion was carried out by the Welsh company Electric Classic Cars. I took the photo at #FullyChargedLive at Silverstone in 2019. #VW#Volkswagen#EV#WeirdCarMastodon#davidsdailycar 1/2
Today, a thoroughly modern take on the concept of a tiny three-wheeled coupé - the Estonian Nobe GT100, which reminds me inescapably of yesterday’s #Meadows#Frisky. But the two cars couldn’t be more different under the skin, with the #Nobe being powered by electric hub motors in all three wheels. I’m not sure of the current status of the Nobe project but the car itself was getting a lot of attention when I saw it at #FullyChargedLive at Farnborough in 2022. #WeirdCarMastodon#davidsdailycar
But I’ve been stringing things out; the thing people usually post pictures of from #FullyChargedLIVE is of the new cars. So without further ado, here’s the one everyone’s been waiting for. All-new for 1896, it’s the Waverley Electric!
