Hey folks, "Magus of the Library" is really good! A boy in a well-constructed and unique fantasy world (more Byzantine or Ottoman than western) sets out to become an official at a prestigious library... and it's pretty adventurous! Great art, distinct characters, not a lot of cliches... Themes include class, race, religion, education, and of course the role of books and libraries in a civilization. This is a story that's not like any other manga I've read!
