Heading to #StPaul in hopes that #MnUFC will finally win a game for me. I have to travel 500 miles RT to watch the Loons. I see about 3 games per season. Havent seen them win in person in three years. If they don't win today, my miles-to-win ratio drops to 5,000/0.
Saturday night’s all right for… Emanuel Reynoso news!
As many have noted from social media, he is indeed back in Minnesota. #mnufc has “outlined clear steps that he must complete before any reintegration with the first team,” according to a club spokesman.
New #MNUFC piece, for the Star Tribune: "Everyone looks to him." Michael Boxall is the Loons' team leader, in a time of change. Plus: Eric Ramsay's halftime plans, and why we're just now seeing Charlotte FC.
"When Minnesota United, and its previous iterations, were in the lower levels of soccer, the U.S. Open Cup provided an opportunity to knock off higher-level MLS teams in a national tournament."
MLS has now taken away that chance for aspiring underdogs."
I'm shocked. Despite the abysmal season, I thought he'd even be allowed to see out his contact as he seemed to be held in pretty high stead by the owner/upper management.
Doing this now is a massive statement to fans that this season has been unacceptable. Tactically it's been very poor. I'm excited to see what the future holds for #MNUFC.
A lot of people are going to give you their thoughts on Adrian Heath being fired today, but I will bet you anything that I'm the only one to compare his firing to that of a Gopher football coach.
(And the people who know me, know exactly which one.)
Greetings from Allianz Field, where I'm on #MNUFC duty for
the Star Tribune tonight.
Emanuel Reynoso is in the starting XI for the Loons, despite not training fully all week. Ethan Bristow starts at left back, despite a run of below-par matches for the youngster.
