Heading to #StPaul in hopes that #MnUFC will finally win a game for me. I have to travel 500 miles RT to watch the Loons. I see about 3 games per season. Havent seen them win in person in three years. If they don't win today, my miles-to-win ratio drops to 5,000/0.
Sitting beneath the cherry tree and listening to the steady roar of the bees in the blossoms is one of the things I enjoy most about spring in #Minnesota.
Looking for suggestions of a friend site or app (not dating...yet) to chat with people with similar interests but would actually let me try to chat with the person instead of hiding the person behind a premium plan. For example, I tried using Bumble BFF, entered my info, had 3 likes from others but it won't show me who they are or to chat with them until I pay a premium plan.
New #MNUFC piece, for the Star Tribune: "Everyone looks to him." Michael Boxall is the Loons' team leader, in a time of change. Plus: Eric Ramsay's halftime plans, and why we're just now seeing Charlotte FC.
Hello fellow mastopeeps! We found these flowers sprouting up and down a stretch of boulevard grass on our walk in Saint Paul today. It looks like it was probably a garden flower that got loose and it's spreading up and down the entire block. I'm guessing it's probably an invasive species.
So someone I know on Facebook figured it out (he's sort of an expert on these things and I suspected he'd have the answer if anyone did).
"Looks like Siberian squill to me. It's highly invasive and should be removed. Which is hard for some people to do because it's so pretty in the spring."
So, came out to the lake after being away for a week and found this squatter sleeping in my living room.
Not sure how to deal with a bat. I'd hate to toss him out in the cold... its only about 2 C.
After weeks of record high temps and no snow on the ground for a month, winter returned to #Minnesnowta. May as well bring back some other #Minnesota memories with #HuskerDu#MaryTylerMoore.
