The boys got a vet checkup and de-ticking, vet estimates 3 months old. No microchip. Son found a coworker who’s been looking to adopt a couple puppies, and they picked them up last night.
Hooray for happy endings.
Warms my heart to see my children grown to being empathetic and resourceful adults doing some good in the world.
My son and his GF found these two German Shepard pups along the side of Brea Canyon road this evening. No tags, thin, some ticks, and minor cuts and bruises. We’ll be getting them checked for microchips tomorrow when the local shelter opens.
Look to be a couple months old. Both males. They ate like they hadn’t eaten in days. Well-behaved and perfectly content in a temporary crate in the garage.
