I learned that Disney+ recently started streaming Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour (which turned out to be a longer cut than the theatrical version) and decided to watch it to see what all the hype is about. Also because I do enjoy several of her songs but am not well-versed with her discography. So I thought that a concert with songs from all her albums seemed like an excellent sampler.
For today, I wanted to do something simple and whimsical.
There’s a lot of rumblings online because Taylor Swift’s wildly successful The Eras Tour is not coming to this or that country. So while I’m not a Swiftie, here’s a map (in my favorite #CahillConcialdi projection) showing which 20 countries currently have tour dates. As you can expect, the usual countries are there and Africa is noticeably absent.
Well, Taylor Swift was incredible 🙌🏼 The entire audience was on their feet & singing for all 44 songs/3.5 hours. At one point she got a 5 minute screaming ovation which left her speechless and visibly emotional.
