The final #makeradvent of 2023 has been released. Listen to me talk about the many Arduino and clone boards that I have as I make a tenuous link to the Die Hard franchise. https://youtu.be/HkT2upIT_u0
Day 23 of #makeradvent and today I take a look at a Cheap. Yellow. Display courtesy of Brian Lough's great video! Great little board and I made lots of blinky lights! https://youtu.be/RyelMmj9BB4
Today on #makeradvent I pretend to be Freddie Mercury with a poor karaoke version of FLASH! Oh, I also use £4 @Primark LED wall art with RGB LEDs and custom animations thanks to WLED. https://youtu.be/WsvwkGhPxnU
Today on #makeradvent I dialled in my tolerances and 3D printed a test piece to hold my electronic screwdriver charging dock, ripped out of an accidental Temu purchase. https://youtu.be/Fn0Ohq6jj1Q
Day 16 of #makeradvent and after day 15 I needed a rest. So, what better way to relax than designing a 3D printed charging station for my new electronic screwdriver? https://youtu.be/qx2ax3taLS0
Day 15 of #makeradvent (finally) is here. Only 13 hours later than planned! Today I build a Neopixel lamp using a lamp kit from One Beyond, a NeoPixel ring and a Wemos D1 Mini running WLED. https://youtu.be/53zceUEIORI
Finally got the edit done. Four hours of editing 90 mins of footage down to 18 minutes. Missing audio, recorded voice overs, out of shot sections and general tweaking. #makeradvent
Slight delay with #makeradvent today. The video is huge (soldering, wiring, WLED, Wemos D1 Mini, NeoPixels) and it is taking a little longer. Now I have to go to work, so I can't edit until later today. Sorry :(
On #makeradvent today I start a multi-day build using Poundland Christmas decorations and a little electronics (556 IC) to make a flashy LED snow globe https://youtu.be/cud1nupiNdM
On #makeradvent today we have The Dork Knight versus The Jiggler!
I bought a USB mouse jiggler from Temu, tore it apart and then found out the price had doubled. So I made my own using @raspberry_pi Pico and @CircuitPython for £4 https://youtu.be/qCtaRYOwwuo
Today on #makeradvent I take a look at a Wago clone connector which splits out two connections to four. Could be useful for future projects. https://youtu.be/ETfIx4xJDZs
I also have faaaaarrr too many Wago connectors.
