Yesterday, at #RetroMania…

Sarah picked up a new tat, and Allie picked up an ADORABLE Spock with the black cat from “Assignment Earth”. Unfortunately we didn’t get a photo together, but we did chat with Randy James (Lt. Jones, background and stand-in; TNG, DS9, ST: First Contact). He was super chill and so much fun to talk with. Hopefully we can get him on the show in the future!

Petit fil de réflexion : je suis coincé depuis plusieurs jours dans #Retromania de Simon Reynolds qui explore la façon dont la pop culture, et plus particulièrement la musique, recycle à l'infini son passé.

J'y reviendrai sans doute, car bien que datant de 2011, le bouquin dresse un joli portrait du rôle du numérique (MP3, YouTube, streaming...) dans l'invasion de nostalgie à laquelle nous nous soumettons tous.
