This morning's R trick is to add a shortcut to the R-Universe documentation of any package as a custom search in my browser.

Add a bookmark

https://cran.r-universe.dev/%s/doc/manual.html

with the keyword "m".

So typing "m mgcv" takes me to the full (HTML, accessible, searchable) docs for mgcv

While I'm at it, adding

https://r-universe.dev/search/?q=%s

with keyword "r" to search for packages.
