Ok so I posted and then deleted a reply about how this is very common sense and it's weird that people in the States have to do all of that judicial process to change your name when in Argentina and the UK you don't.

But after doing some googling it seems I was wrong, Argentina HAS a US style draconic name change process, but not if you're trans?????

Like, you have to give a reason and a judge has to authorize it unless you're transgender or a victim of the 1976-1983 dictatorship, and no other reason. Which for my purposes is cool but is genuinely so weird.

Ok so as someone who knows nothing about hip hop or rap, are diss tracks generally meant to provide evidence or is it just like fair game to say anything? Because like, idk, with this Drake and Kendrick Lamar stuff we're getting domestic violence and CSA accusations just kinda tossed about and I haven't seen like, actual evidence to back anything up.

Also what's the metagame here? Are we judging who's winning by the quality of the songs, the severity of the accusations, or just like how good each guy's vibes are?

Today I was approached by a first year in my highschool because he heard that us fourth years were taught to make websites. I told him that even though I personally wasn't a wiz at it, there are quite a few free online resources to learn HTML5 or CSS, at a basic level, sure, but still enough to make his personal website.

We chatted like this, I told him that I knew quite a few people that made their own pages, he told me that was cool, whatever. And then, I finally decided to ask him what his idea was. Previously I had assumed he wanted to host like, a blog, or an about me page, or something like that, but he responded with "I want to monetize it with Google AdSense!".

The kid (who was like 13-12) had literally ZERO concepts for what he would actually make, he literally just had the thought that if you host something and put ads on it you can make cash. He then went on to talk to me about how much we wanted to invest in cryptocurrency for ~15 minutes.
