Not a lot of people know this, but not only did Northernlion and Kendrick Lamar go to the same highschool, and not only did NL teach him how to rap, but he actually beat him in the sixth grade talent show.
I could feel bad about being white and not knowing anything about hip hop but Drake is in the same boat and he's a millionaire so I'll probably end up okay.
Ok so as someone who knows nothing about hip hop or rap, are diss tracks generally meant to provide evidence or is it just like fair game to say anything? Because like, idk, with this Drake and Kendrick Lamar stuff we're getting domestic violence and CSA accusations just kinda tossed about and I haven't seen like, actual evidence to back anything up.
Also what's the metagame here? Are we judging who's winning by the quality of the songs, the severity of the accusations, or just like how good each guy's vibes are?
Hey, this is actually important to me for reasons I can't explain, but does anyone have an example (or better yet, page number or photo) of a specific Asterix book where Vitalstatistix (the chieftan) says something akin to "the only thing we have to fear is the sky falling on our heads"?
