    Les leçons tirées de l'attaque XZ Utils :

    • il faut sérieusement soutenir les projets libres qui fondent internet
    • la complexité intrinsèque des autotools GNU en font un vecteur d'attaque aisé

    @Erdrokan @Gallorum 30 trucs à corriger ça reste gérable. C'est quand tu commences à avoir des bots qui font 3 millions d'edits dans le mois sur Wikidata que 1% d'erreur commence à se voir

    Il y a des tas de problématiques autour de mais je voudrais juste faire un retour sur un sujet plus léger : le fait que quand tu te fais un compte tu as à priori un "mentor" qui vient poster un message de bienvenue sur ta page de discussion. Je pense que l'intention est louable même si dans le contexte actuel ça peut ptet aussi être vécu un peu en mode "on t'a à l'œil" mais c'est pas le problème que j'ai avec ça.

    @harmonia_amanda @crowdagger je me souviens que j'avais été bienvenuté quand j'étais arrivé (bien avant la mise en place de ce système) par un compte nommé ADM et du coup j'avais cru que c'était un robot admin, mais en fait non c'est une vraie personne.

    A couple years back, I wanted to make a list of the works by the #SeizBreur artistic movement (the "Breton art-déco")

    I couldn't do this on #WikimediaCommons/#Wikidata of course, as most of the works are still under copyright, so I tried to make it with #Notion and while it works and looks nice, it needs some tedious repeated work, and has a lot of limitations in terms of what I can do with the data.

    Yesterday/this morning I wondered if this could make an interesting use case for #Grist (https://www.getgrist.com/ - and specifically the desktop version #GristElectron https://github.com/gristlabs/grist-electron/ ), which I wanted to try for quite some time.

    It clearly won't be the tool I need, as it is not at all image-oriented, but it will be useful to clean the data before I make a proper tool (probably using #Django / #WagtailCMS)

    @Monolecte j'en viens à me demander s'il n'y aurait pas moyen de faire un truc qui convertirait le dockerfile en série d'instructions pour l'installation lisibles par un humain.

    Je veux dire, je comprends le besoin des devs de Baserow de fournir un redis et un postgre qui juste marchent, mais j'ai déjà ça sur ma machine, j'ai pas besoin de les faire tourner en double dans Docker.

    Je le dis souvent mais je trouve que les franciliens sont extremement chill dans les transports par rapport aux situations.

    Là ça vient de faire une annonce "pour votre sécurité veuillez évacuer les quais D et E" et t'as zero mouvement de panique, les quais sont vidés, t'as la majorité des gens qui prennent un autre chemin, un petit groupe qui attend un peu plus loin, et les quais C et F pourtant juste à coté des D et E qui continuent à fonctionner normalement

    @mage en même temps il y a 9 chances sur 10 que "pour votre sécurité" veuille dire "on a trouvé un sac à dos oublié sur le quai"
