BigWumbo,

The PvP experience itself has actually never been in a better spot imo in terms of content delivery and balance cadence

BigWumbo,

Imo 4e is far and away the most analogous edition to a video game and it’s not close. That’s why a lot of longtime dnd players found the shift so jarring. It forewent a lot of the more RP and theater-of-the-mind focused parts of combat in particular and integrated systems that were inspired by tabletop war and tactics games. From a pure mechanics perspective, it was awesome and there was a lot to grab on to and really strategize/min-max. Some people didn’t like the trade-offs though. I think it is the most video game like in its core systems.

BigWumbo,

Yeah it’s a bit of red-headed step child. There’s some pretty cool mechanical stuff in there though.

BigWumbo,

Defunding them and diverting those resources into social services that have been shown to actually give back in meaningful ways to the communities and safety/effectively deescalate tense situations without committing atrocities while perpetuating systemic hate-based violence.

There does need to be someone with a gun I can call if someone is literally breaking into my home intent on murdering my family. But outside of those extreme and fringe outlier circumstances, society would be much better served by well-funded social workers and emergency first responders who are trained to resolve conflicts while actually helping those in need of it without threat of eminent deadly violence.

BigWumbo,

I do not disagree

BigWumbo,

It’s explicitly stated by the Netherbrain in act 3 that they allowed the Emperor to escape their thrall, anticipating all of the events leading to him discovering Orpheus and your adventuring party - as well as the the chosen of the Dead 3 discovering the Crown of Karsus and the Ilithid oubliette under Moonrise Towers. It is implied that the whole idea for the creation of the Cult of the Absolute and planned power grab by the Dead 3 was also anticipated/orchestrated by the brain from the beginning.

BigWumbo,

Funeral doom all the way imo. Check out Ahab and Bereft.

For black metal - Der Weg Einer Freiheit can’t be beat

Honest question: How do you go about cleaning/caring for a large wooden board like this after daily use? I have a petty large butcher block board (nowhere near as nice as this one) that barely fits into my sink - but I’m able to clean it with the detachable sink nozzle. But I still find myself placing a smaller plastic board on top of it 95% just because it’s waaay easier to clean.

BigWumbo,

Right. Otherwise what, just like wipe it with a wet paper towel? Idk if that would do the trick a lot of the time.

BigWumbo,

If only there was some kind of gender-neutral pronoun that could be utilized to refer to someone that is always correct regardless of gender

BigWumbo,

Raisin Bran slaps and while I’m here so do Grape Nuts

BigWumbo,

It’s basically tiny 100% fiber nuggets. It feels like you’re chewing gravel it’s great

BigWumbo,

Ahh that’s the thing. Not even remotely

BigWumbo,

f i b e r

BigWumbo,

You can actually recruit her into your party in act 1 if you’re playing as the Dark Urge! Just talk to her in the Druid grove and then long rest before progressing the tiefling quest line

BigWumbo,

Where is this? It’s clearly a Dark Souls reference

BigWumbo,

3/9 anything is suboptimal because you’re missing out on a feat. The exception being 3dip into Theif because Fast Hands > almost every feat in the game.
