Absolutely! You don’t have any say in what family you are born into, they might be good, might suck ducks, more likely somewhere in between. You can choose family that are not biologically related to you, and love them as purely or even more so than you do biological family. Many refer to their close friends as chosen family for this very reason. Love who you love and be happy, no matter who may try to piss on your happiness.

Although I do like The Deathly hallows, Half Blood Prince takes the cake. The tale of Tom Riddle’s past, Slughorn, Felix Felicis, Draco’s reluctance to join the dark side and Dumbledore’s ultimate demise is very enthralling. Prisoner of Azkaban takes a sweet third place.
Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite for that one shining moment of hope for Harry, that he could live with someone who knew his parents, loved them, and loves him. The hope was dashed too quickly though, I cried harder when Sirius died (in order of the Phoenix) than I did when Dumbledore died.
I have 50+ years experience being a cis woman in this world. I have fought tooth and nail from early childhood to not be dehumanized, objectified and controlled. For easy to peel hard boiled eggs, cool them slowly and peel while still warm. More detailed instructions: when done boiling, set the pot, undrained, in the sink with a butter knife under one side to slightly tilt the pot. Run a very thin stream of cold water from the faucet into the pot and go do something else for 20 minutes or so. When the eggs are comfortably warm, roll them against the inside of the sink until the shell is well cracked and they should slip easily out of the shell. If you get a stubborn one, just dip it back into the pot and it should pop out easily. Thanks Grandma for teaching me this one!

Just wanted to add that here online, you can expound at length on any topic you are passionate about. If someone is not interested, they'll move on. If they are interested, they'll engage with the topic, if they are a troll they'll say something rude. So, ignore the trolls, chat happily away with any who engage, and you won't even miss those who don't care. It's all good.
