It doesn’t even make any sense period. States are the ones that delineate “rights.” A sovereign state would never need to affirm its “rights” or have them affirmed, unless their sovereignty was conditional.

So, all of this is a show the international (imperial) community plays to endorse the genocide. The US gives the occupier of Palestine the “right” to defend itself from blowback and demands support from its other vassals and victims to solidify the sovereignty of an illegitimate project through their recognition as legitimate players. Yet this seemingly challenges the sovereignty of the project, almost as if it is just a US colony in need of permission…

The US would never - maybe not even rhetorically - rely on rights granted to it by the international community to assert its imperial sovereignty. The society of states is such a fucking joke.

That isnt clear either. I wonder if some people are just routinely negative about major releases? I usually don’t have wide expectations and get into games for niche reasons, for settlement and ship building in this case. I’m not really invested in what the more negative gamers have to say because it doesn’t have much to do with why I want to play the game. Also I feel like too many are just outrage poisoned so their opinion is just guaranteed to be ridiculous.

I get worked up over other people’s spatial awareness, especially as it relates to walking on a sidewalk or driving. People will take up all the space on a sidewalk, they will open their doors as cars are going by, they will walk out into traffic, they move around as if other people do not exist, they will stand and congregate in the middle of a walkway. I find it wildly disrespectful and dangerous. I feel like when I’m driving people are constantly putting their wellbeing into my hands and gambling that I have the skills and awareness to not let them get in a wreck or get run over. When I am walking down the sidewalk, I feel few people are managing space in a way that keeps the sidewalk available to as many people as possible while other people are basically pushing me off the sidewalk entirely so they can all walk like a wall, or bulldozer.
