That’s a perfectly acceptable approach, but it’s a bit odd to complain about seeing things you don’t like in /All. Of course you do, no one likes everything.
Mastodon uses ActivityPub and has been around a lot longer, I suspect that our issues are specific to the lemmy implementation, and I suspect there is a lot we can learn from Mastodon. But I’m afraid I don’t have the skills to contribute so I’ll just sit back and let the people with the skills sort it out 🙂
There is nothing special about being a moderator. If you have thoughts on how to encourage discussion and engagement, then feel free to put your plan into action!
I’m afraid that telling people who are enjoying a less addicted social media experience that they are not using Lemmy enough is not my idea of a good plan, but perhaps you have other ideas.
