Der Beitrag ist auch in der Eltern-Generation meiner Familie angekommen. Wir sind letztens auf einer kleinen Feier zusammengesessen als jemand damit angefangen hat.

Die waren alle gegen regelmäßige Überprüfungen, weil sie ja dann wahrscheinlich den Schein auch abgeben müssten. Und überhaupt ist das ja nur eine Masche vom Staat den Umsatz von Fahrschulen anzukurbeln.

Ist schon krass wie knapp Leute dran kommen und es dann doch nicht checken.

Gegenargument: Blitzer halten Raser nicht vom rasen ab. Warnungen vor Blitzern schon (zumindest dort wo gewarnt wird).

Und der Lerneffekt wenn man wochen später einen Brief bekommt ist für viele auch eher abgeschwächt.

Wenn schon Geschwindigkeitsmessung dann doch bitte mit Streife, die einen direkt danach aufhält und konfrontiert.

Wouldn’t nerving downvotes/dislikes make it harder to voice your option freely? It’s the easiest way to signal if you dislike something (And ofc the other way around with upvotes). But if you make it harder to do that, you’ll suddenly have a lot of people that just don’t bother. That will create a false sense of acceptance of whatever has been said and will make it easier to create echo chambers.

Also: Nobody owes anyone anything and that also goes for explainations on up- or downvotes.

But there’s there’s already a way to clarify what your downvote means by just writing an additional comment.

But maybe someone doesn’t want to clarify because they feel like it’s not worth their time. Or maybe they disagree with everything and don’t know where to start. Or maybe the just want to say “I don’t like that” and that’s it.

I don’t think downvoting a post without an explanation is rude. It’s the most basic way of saying: “I don’t like this”.

But to answer your question: Literally showing someone a thumbs-down.

Also, why do you think they would care what you think if you’re not going to engage more?

They should feel free to ignore Downvotes then (or disable them in their client)

We’ve got something similar. The fork we have came in a pack of two. The one we don’t use for cat food is in the drawer with all the other forks and nobody ever uses it.

Ich gebe dir recht dabei, dass vegane Ernährung im bezug auf Tierwohl und Umwelt schlechter ist als vegetarische Ernährung.

Bei deiner annahme über Wurst- vs. Käsebrot möchte ich dir aber Widersprechen (außer du hast Daten dazu). Wenn das der fall wäre könnten Vegetarier das ganze ja gleich bleiben lassen und wieder Fleisch essen.

Aus Neugierde hätte ich jetzt nach einer Studie gesucht die Einsamkeit über ein größeres alters-spektrum vergleicht. Aber irgendwie gibts nur welche über eher ältere oder eher jüngere menschen.
