Cant help but think any govt trying to gain more and more power is not a good thing, even though i would trust Andrews over most premiers its not a good precedent to start setting.

Increased Rates > Unemployment goes down > House prices go up > Wages still stable.
Think its time many of us economists reassess how the market is going to function in the next 5-10 years.
And unless the govt is willing to help foot the bill that wont happen either. Homeowners make up a big chunk of the voting block and no one is going to force something like that on them without some sort of funding.
