Today's head-scratcher in #linuxmint and #emacs. Hope someone can help me understand this. I've got both W10 and LM installed on my machine. While in LM, using dired in emacs, I can navigate through all of my linux directories. However, the file manager in LM shows a Windows directory, and I can see and access a lot of my W10 files (though not my Documents folder). Why is that? And how can I access all my Windows documents in LM? TIA!

EdHamilton,

@birv2 @jtr There's a way to make Onedrive keep a copy of the files on your local computer, but I forget how.

There is a onedrive client for linux on github. but use with caution. even the maintainer states that it can freeze the computer if running in the background. I just run it once a day. And it's a bear to set up. If you're just starting with linux, hold off on it for a while. But it does work.
There's always the onedrive web interface to get at your files.
