I built two Ferris Sweeps today, one for home, and one for the office. I originally intended to build one, but after I tested the first, I immediately decided I wanted to also use this at work....
I also have two Ferris sweeps. My error was that I bought 3 pin switched, which wont sit right in place without a case. 5 pin switches(those with the 2 extra plastic pins at the bottom), will sit perfectly fine and straight without a case. So if you have 3 pin switches, that could be the problem with the "bad looking grid". I currently have a silent one with Gazzew Bobas and a loud one with Kaihl Owls.
So the only game ive played was dnd and its hard finding a group for some reason and i dont really like that online stuff. so i like dnd but i have no-one to play with that i know and dnd can be complex at time....
My favorite currently is Basic Fantasy. But I don't know how well it is for solo play. One where the core rules are free and which has solo play is Ironsworn.
Gentoo's Portage and NixOS' Nix are both interesting takes on package management. Both are powerful and open up a ton of flexbility to the user, but still do a lot of work for you....

Any interesting approaches to package management (Linux or not)? besides Portage and Nix.
