Recent updates to @IceCubesApp forced a change to the app icon that I was easily able to correct on my iPhone & iPad, but I can’t seem to find that setting on my Mac. (The Mac version of the app is just the iPad version running on Apple Silicon, I think?) Anyone have any thoughts on this? Nothing against the new default icon, but I’d like to be able to change it if I want to. Thanks!

@senorganso Well you need the icon to be aligned with the leading border of the post. But I can fake it. Looking into that actually.

@slothdude Yes but then I need to adjust the outer padding to 0 for the bottom vertical spacing and depending of where a status is shown it’s a whole other mess :/

Is anyone still working on @ivory ? So many bugs are not getting fixed.

For example, pasting images, often results and pasting a path instead.

I would really prefer more regular updates, squishing every day bugs. That’s what I’m paying for after all. Ivory is so pretty, I want to keep it.

I wish I could have some telemetry other than App Store Connect for @IceCubesApp . I wonder what I could use that would not completely fuck up the privacy of the app? It's hard to make product decision without any data.

An update is coming soon to fix various annoying bugs!

  • New icon!
  • Fix quote posts that are sometimes not showing correctly.
  • Fix media import. The app should now handle more images/movie types copied, dragged & dropped in the post editor.
  • Fix a bug where some custom emojis were not displayed.
  • Fix a crash related to the post editor.
  • Fix local timeline -> home switch error.
  • Fix language selector on iPad.
  • Various other fixes
