Hey #AppleEvent Tooters. Can you please make sure you select your language settings in #Mastodon etc. correctly when you post something? Otherwise, you are spamming other timelines in a language that many can't read. There is a lot of Japanese coming in here at the moment, which is unfortunately unreadable for me. Thank you very much! :)

@IceCubesApp how this counter works? It never shows how many toots left to read and it is impossible to turn it off. It’s just random number – why do we have it? Is it still impossible to turn it off?

@voland @konrado0905 yes if you close the app and come back later it’ll only show the counter for newly loaded posts or the new session

Help! is anyone good with iOS Shortcuts and has @IceCubesApp ? I thought I knew what I was doing but I can’t get any of the shortcuts to work. I must be doing something wrong as even these simple shortcuts don’t work. All that happens is IceCubes opens in the post editor with default theme. I’ve checked permissions etc and can’t see where the error is. 🙏 Thanks

In the next version, you'll have compose a status, which opens the compose within the app. You can still prefill a text and a photo. The new shortcut will be "Send a text status," this can be done all within Shortcuts/Siri without opening the app!
