Greetings y’all. I’ve been using ways to circumvent YouTube ads for years now. I’d much rather donate to creators directly instead of using Google as a middle man, needing YouTube Premium. If even pay for premium for just a add free version, if the price wouldn’t be so outrageous. I’ve So far used adblockers, Vanced...
Well good thing it’s all open source, feel free to get in there and fix your problems with your audio equipment. Something makes me think you’d rather complain about it on the internet than fix anything though.
Finally got back into sailing the high seas and, first thing i did after getting plex set up was get parks and rec since ive missed it so bad after it left netflix. Its great so far but occasionally it loses track of what ive watched and picks up in the middle of like 9 episodes back?...
Been full red for over a decade, the only problem I ever had with drivers is window 11 randomly uninstalling them. But then again, I wouldn’t put mw2 on my system if you paid me.
Is this the right way to do it or is it scary and weird for people? BTW I find the operation of this system ‘lemmy’? difficult and inconsistent. Sometimes it doesn’t seem to let me reply to posts or messages and sometimes it does. I have little idea what’s going on so I hope people understand.
Steam deck’s default settings turn the screen off when you press the power button. Are you talking about docked mode? Not sure what monitor you’re talking about.
Dimming after an allotted time is also default on desktop mode, so I’m not sure what you’re referencing. Gonna need more information.
Dear @apple smart charging is really annoying when you grab your device and only discover halfway to work that it only charged to 53% instead of full. Not everyone works 9 to 5 or has access to a charger during the work day. #AppleAnnoyances
I like setting up my SteamDeck docked on my big TV. Newer games look rough at 720p, but playing older/indies at 1920x1080 + 4 controllers is a great experience....
So how much is this one going to cost? $80? This company’s greed has gotten out of hand.
Remember when they said this during the chip shortage

I have a MacBook in my closet I can’t use at all because of an Nvidia integrated GPU. I’ve had nothing but problems with their shitty software too. Never had a single problem since I switched to AMD, and it was wayyyy cheaper. Your issue sounds like PEBCAK to me.
You know opencl AMD installations have problems if you have previously installed Nvidia software? So it sounds like your experience with AMD may have been soured by NVIDIA actually, and then you went out and gave them more money.
