    super mad that with the demise of Thuraya I'm pretty much forced to reckon with the fact that Starlink is probably the best solution for my particular needs.

    @jpm yup. I can hire a starlink unit for less than the hire of a sat phone because the iridium and inmarsat plans are about 3x the price that Thuraya was. Plus we can run the trackers over the fucken starlink connection.
