Of all the Japanese beers to stock here, these are 2 unusually bland choices at very unbland prices.

Not to go there, but Portland’s biggest issue tonight may not be the ice storm coming, but rather than tourist in pearl district who just cleared a 4 day gastrointestinal stalling in one sitting. Apologies to the local services.

Also, sad I missed Tina fey and Amy pohler by around an hour downtown yesterday.

Makkoruden,

If I had to guess, maybe my 7 year latent lactose intolerance is suddenly back now I’m in the west. In Australia I couldn’t have 100ml of milk without shooting off like a jet rider, but in Japan I can drink litres with not so much as a squeak.

SUP on a hot summers day. Moana’s first time but she loves swimming so much now. Half the time was in the water, and another 25% was spent jumping to everybody’s bird she could.

Here’s today’s / tip:

  1. Put long lists at the beginning or end of sentences
  2. Relatedly, keep the subject and verb close together if possible.

A) Various animal species, such as gorillas in Africa, Sumatran tigers in Asia, and California condors in North America, are now critically endangered.

B) Various animal species are now critically endangered, such as gorillas in Africa, Sumatran tigers in Asia, and California condors in North America.

B is way better, right?

Just sounds more romantic, no?

Makkoruden,

After a while searching for decent quality and safety I found a ceiling fan for the living room. We were still nervous installing it that the light bracket will hold it, but it seems pretty strong. Hopefully.

Makkoruden,

@FlockOfCats I did not notice she was looking too!!!
