Avoiding discussion of politics is the privilege of those who benefit from oppression.

Doing two things or more at once is great, as Halasham says.

But most importantly, if the grind isn’t fun, don’t do it. If it’s not fun the way you’re doing it, find another way to do it. Back before they moved Harrow Systems, I spent roughly thirty hours getting it to drop in Caracol defection. It wasn’t super fun, but I made it more fun by experimenting with every frame I had to see if that frame could do the job effectively.

So to answer your question: anything that’s fun is worth doing. Because every piece of gear is worth having, and if it’s fun to get, then why not?

I don’t especially have any insights, but with the rework, Inaros is going from “so boring and awkward to play that I never use him” to “always worth considering.”

The Daikyu/Nikana life steal combo makes him essentially immortal.

Not all strawberries are runners, but you’re right about those that are. The good news about runners is that they become more strawberry plants if you give them a chance.

You must not be talking about HA Core. Because some of those add-on additions are just straight up impossible for Core, as far as my experience.

Mpeach45,
@Mpeach45@lemmy.world avatar

Node red is the most notable example.

Maybe if you’re a deep Linux head, but the rabbit hole of “first do x, which requires y, which requires z, which requires….” Seemed infinitely deep for me, who has only a passing familiarity with Linux.

Again, I’m talking about Node Red on HA CORE.

I’d suggest replacing petrify with Pull. Pull has more range than any other ability. Just yank them into Nekros’ range!

Mpeach45,
@Mpeach45@lemmy.world avatar

The problem with Petrify is that it affects so few, and only manually. There’s just no scenario I can think of where Atlas would outperform Mag simply by having Mag bring more enemies faster into the range of a trio of Nekros, Hydroid, and Khora.

The single most important thing a new Nova player needs to know:

NEVER TAKE SLOW NOVA INTO PUBLIC DEFENSE MISSIONS

I don’t care if it’s level 250 steel path, just don’t do it. Rage quitting will ensue if you do.

The number two thing about Nova:

If there’s any poetry in your soul at all, her reduced power strength version is not “SpeedVa”. It’s **“GOVA.” **

Those important PSAs out of the way, I love Nova. She’s one of the few frames that offers flexible enough powers to be truly creative. By which I mean her Antimatter Drop, which can be combined with Wormhole to do some truly amazing things. If you’re wondering what I mean, check out DE’s trick shot competition winners: forums.warframe.com/topic/…/3/-11548009

Importantly for SlowVa, range is typically very bad. That’s because for survivability, you want the Null Star particles to stay close to you, not be heading off in all directions. Also the range of her 4 scales off duration, not range! Nova’s Molecular Fission augment helps a LOT with this too. Low range does however mean you can’t really use Wormhole. This is why I have three builds for her: SlowVa, GoVa, and Travel.

It’s nice to hear that the single really BAD glaive, the Kestrel, once had its glory days.

I really hope it gets an incarnon treatment, because it is the most fun glaive too. It just can’t kill anything. Even with 4 forma and a riven.

It still ragdolls any “normal” unit, far as I know. Level 195 steel path corrupted heavy gunners go right on their ass.

L4 will be the first rank that, at the newest update drop, will separate K-drive hating L3s from newly minted L4s.

As of now, you can make the top rank without ever leveling a K-drive, but with WitW, I don’t think that will be true.

Don’t have much insight into the French Lieutenant’s Warframe, though I recognize he’s very strong on any mission where running about like mad is not the goal.

I do wish vector pads didn’t work on Tenno.

On those rare occasions I use him, I pair him with the Kuva Chakkhurrr, since enemies in Bastille are just hanging around waiting for their headshot, and ones in Vortex like a nice little AoE.

This alert allowed me to be reminded how much I hate Conclave.

Waiting for cross-save has made me miss a lot of content 😔

I lost my PC a few years ago, but since I have a PS4, I’ve been waiting for cross-save to hit for a while now. I’ve been watching the cool events go by and clan posts that seem interesting, but I can’t play until cross-save (I have over 6100 hours on my PC account, and starting over would be too much since I work more...

I’m sorry to say you aren’t going to love the experience on PS4. Load times are getting longer, to the point that if you are doing a capture mission on pub with people not on ps4, you may get kicked from the mission because they’ll complete the objective before you can load in.

IOS load times are excellent though. At least in the beta.

If you can point me at a dedicated Warframe recruiting topic, I’d be happy to use that. but I doubt it exists.

Those "Giving Pledge" billionaires had better pick up the pace (www.motherjones.com)

In the latest report on billionaire philanthropy from the nonprofit Institute for Policy Studies, authors Helen Flannery, Chuck Collins, and Bella DeVaan use Forbes data to calculate that the 73 surviving American pledgers who were billionaires when the pledge was created in 2010 have more than doubled their collective wealth...
