Flood 1: A/C condensation drain backed up
Flood 2: Our hot water heater sprung a leak
Flood 3: NEIGHBOR's hot water heater sprung a leak and water flowed over to our side
Flood 4: Pipe had a hole in in

At least it has never been, y'know, waste water, I guess...

You've both played Horizon Zero Dawn. Any idea on how respawn of mobs works? I know when you clear out a base they don't but was about mechanicals out in the wild?

@pixelone @scopique I... can't remember because I'm playing Forbidden West now. In that game they respawn pretty quickly. But I can't honestly remember what it was like in Zero Dawn. :(

@scopique It's weird how many devs screw up save systems. I was playing that Pacific Drive demo last night and when I quit because it was midnight, I was warned that I hadn't saved for 21 minutes. But there was no way to manually save that I could find.

Hoping that was just a foible of the demo.

Oh, all of this is riffing off the Space Stardew Valley game requiring you to sleep in order to save.

One step to go, replace this patch of carpet. Glad they're replacing it and not just shampooing it because it is NASTY. Not sure pics can do it justice...

Once that is done we can start putting things back together. HOPING that gets done tomorrow.

@scopique We are not actively talking to them about that now since, y'know, I prefer that they keep really trying to please us and "make things right".

But we've both decided it is time to relocate.. this was the kick in the ass we needed. I've actually started purging during all of this which is feeling great. Just old junk I know we'll NEVER need/use.

I shoulda hashtagged that FirstWorldProblems... I am fully aware that all these leak-related issues are absolutely trivial compared to issues millions of people deal with every day.. like finding a roof to sleep under, or filling their bellies.

So far today:
New carpet teams shows up, does nothing. They literally turned the dehumidifier up and left.

Then some inspector from the property comes in, looks in our utility room, then wants to look in the room next door. Then vanishes. No idea what he found.

Next "Leak Locators" arrives, looks in our utility room, then goes next door to look in theirs. They're still over there now.

My Quest headset is starting to act up. I'm seeing weird Tron-like outlines in part of the view that I can't get rid of. I though it might be because of the bounds I set, but the outlines persist no matter where I go or where I face.
