The argument against nuclear power is ridiculous on a planet with this many nuclear weapons. We have a loaded gun pointed at our heads 24/7 and we can't use it to scratch behind our ear?

@MLE_online I would've thought that, too, but I've talked to more people than I would have expected who think we can't put the toothpaste back in the tube with nuclear weapons, but we have a chance to stop nuclear power, which is wild.

@MLE_online (To clarify for spectators, I think we ARE stopping nuclear power quite effectively. What I think is ridiculous is the idea that it would be desirable to do that and/or that it atones in any way for nuclear proliferation.)

I'll never forgive the war industry for degrading the public's trust in science and medicine. The MIC isn't just responsible for the deaths of their customers' "targets" but for all of the deaths caused by anti-nuclear-energy, anti-vaccine, and environmental-doomer/accelerationist ideology worldwide.
