ParabolicMotion,

He looks like he’s posing for a Dos Equis commercial. He looks so…interesting!

ParabolicMotion,

How far apart in age do you think we were?

ParabolicMotion,

Very close. It isn’t exactly 10 years. 9 years, 9 months, and 11 days.

ParabolicMotion,

No. She didn’t move out for college. She really became a different person after about 1992, and she stayed close to my parents’ place after that. She doesn’t live with them, but she’s close.

ParabolicMotion,

Norway might not be accurately described in this map. While walking through the airport, every airport worker kept trying to speak to me in Norwegian. I don’t know any words in their language. It would be cool if I did, but I don’t. Anyway, they always looked confused, repeated themselves more slowly, and waited for a response from me. Eventually, I realized one of them was asking me about my backpack.

UPDATE on Blue (lemmy.world)

This isn’t the best picture of him, but it shows how well his face is healing. He will most likely have scars. The fur appears to be regrowing now. He has used more than half of his amoxicillin medication for his jaw infection. The veterinarian still wants to pull teeth some time in July. He will need an appointment in June...

ParabolicMotion,

Thank you. I have tried to divorce him twice, and he fails to appear for the final ruling. Last time this happened, the judge threw it out. In my county, the court will throw it out if both parties don’t appear.

ParabolicMotion,

Right? My husband did physically abuse me and I had to have a temporary restraining order against him. I wonder if women in Missouri can even get a restraining order in those situations after the types of laws they are passing. I’m very concerned for women in Missouri after reading that.

Your cat is so cute! It looks like he, or she, has claimed your bed as his own.

Some older male is using my husband's name in social media profiles

So, I understand that some people can have the same name, but this isn’t the case with my husband. My husband’s name is so unusually spelled that he was the only person, besides his biological father, who had that first and last name combination on a birth certificate. This is a fact that he shared with me when we first...

ParabolicMotion,

If anyone has seen him, or sees this post and shows him the wedding photo in my post history, perhaps I can find him. No one else really cares. I have explained this to family, and they don’t care because he physically abused me when we lived together. I realize that, and I don’t want him in my personal life, again. I don’t agree with letting people suffer, though, if he’s homeless somewhere, and can’t reach out for help. Since he’s so popular, I doubt he is. I guess I should just assume his friends are taking care of him, if he is, and that he doesn’t want to communicate with me. I’ll just stay out of it.

ParabolicMotion,

If you’re stalking my account in order to find me, so you can make those comments, then you are committing a crime. It’s not about victim here, it’s about you breaking the law.

ParabolicMotion,

I’m not pulling any shenanigans. Here is hoping you never have to experience your spouse looking for you. It seems like you want me to shut up and stop looking for my husband. Any reason why? I hope his friends aren’t stalking my account because they did something to him and can’t admit it.

ParabolicMotion,

It’s the last name of my fifth cousin and his relatives. I didn’t realize I was related to them until today. I just knew the last name as that of the individuals using his ID. Then I remembered one of their first names and took it to Ancestry.com on a whim. Long story short, I just realized that my fifth cousin and his family are the ones who took his ID. He probably thought they were his friends. I didn’t even know to which local family they were connected, until recently. This explains a lot. I hope he is still alive, and not homeless, or dead under a bridge somewhere.

ParabolicMotion,

“No one is persecuting you…” as you continue to attack me. I bet you’re a real treat to have as a significant other. I’d advise you to get some help before you verbally bash some person in your life outside of Lemmy.

ParabolicMotion,

I haven’t threatened anyone. It sounds like you frequent bars. I don’t. Maybe you should live a healthier lifestyle.

ParabolicMotion,

I wouldn’t waste my time on some lie. I spent the past seven years not caring, because I figured my husband set it all up to troll me. Now, I’m sorry I cared. I shouldn’t have even mentioned it. Let the cops find him, or not. It’s not my problem anymore. If someone tries to come after me for some problems he has caused while we were apart, I’ll just refuse to help. Who cares? It’s not like my husband is family to me.

ParabolicMotion,

I think deep down, my family has always had these issues. I’m the baby of the family, and I can remember all the family drama of the early 90’s. It doesn’t surprise me that my distant relatives are pulling some stunt with my husband’s ID. I think they are behind the fake social media account.

ParabolicMotion,

That isn’t the name that was on their birth certificate, though, if they are older than him. There are several social media accounts with older men t thing to use his name (men in their 50’s and 60’s). In 2010, my husband told me that he was the only one in America with that name because of how his last name is spelled. I understand that people can change their name through the courts, but I think other men are simply using his identity and have perhaps used it to establish residence, which gives them a public record for living in a given city with that name. In fewer words: I suspect those men of fraud.

Also, I never said my husband’s name, which I can clearly see displayed in the link that you provided. Did you dox me?

ParabolicMotion,

I did show up. They marked me absent and were supposed to change it. I was sitting in the back of the court room and they didn’t see me raise my hand when they called my name. I told the bailiff and he said I would have to have the court change it later, and then reappear. I went down the hallways to that room that has all of the clerks in it, where I could complain. They told me I would have to appeal it, or just start the process all over again. He didn’t appear at all.

Also, you really aren’t allowed to dox people. You’re breaking the rules of Lemmy on this site.

ParabolicMotion,

I literally had the end of “No More Tears” by Ozzy repeating in my head, as I saw this image.

In the bush/In the bush/In the bush

ParabolicMotion,

Maybe they could also offer free EV charging spaces in parking stalls that are close to the store, in addition to still offering gasoline. They’re going to have customers that drive both.

ParabolicMotion,

No, as someone who has had many of the medical drugs they discuss in D.A.R.E., I wouldn’t compare myself to some cis gendered person who happens to be transphobic. That would be comparing opposites. I’m a person who has been given morphine several times in surgery, and after hemorrhaging in labor. I don’t think the government should legalize recreational use of morphine and regulate it. That seems dumb to me. D.A.R.E. doesn’t seem dumb. Sorry if you feel differently, but I don’t think we should legalize all drugs. You might argue for different drugs being legalized. I don’t want people that hate me to be allowed to carry drugs that they might put into my food order at a restaurant, either. You can’t assume that people who want to legally carry, or keep, drugs want to do so for personal use. It isn’t safe to have people carrying drugs on them that can be used to poison others. Not everyone who is into drugs is looking to party with you. Some are looking to get rid of people.

ParabolicMotion,

You think that would end the illegal drug trade? People can legally own guns. They are legal to own and we have regulations for owning them. Guess what is still traded on the black market, and moved by gangs for cash? Guns are. Legalizing drugs will not solve the problem. Instead, you will have food service workers carrying drugs like opium on them, without legal repercussions. You want a blueberry smoothie your ex is making for you on your next lunch break? I guess it depends on who that is making it, and how much they hate you. I would hope they chose a lifestyle that didn’t involve drugs. Hopefully, it wouldn’t be a drive-thru order for you. Wouldn’t want someone to get drugs in their food and then drive away while consuming it.

I don’t have to agree with you. I just see too many problems arising from legalizing all drugs, as you suggested.

My grandfather in his Navy uniform during WW2. (lemmy.world)

I believe this was a candid shot someone took of him. My other grandfather was in the army during WW2, but I have yet to dig up that photo again. I came across this one today, while sifting through old items. I believe this picture was taken before Pearl Harbor was bombed; the location where he was stationed.

ParabolicMotion,

No. He isn’t. You’re being disrespectful.

ParabolicMotion,

I have actually visited every country that is part of my dna map, except Sweden. Who are you to call someone ignorant? You must have a really high opinion of yourself.
