Y'all, I'm embarrassingly ignorant in this aspect, but I need some help working with VSCode extensions.

I'm looking at the GIT repository for one and have downloaded the zip...and there are other extensions I've "installed," but I don't know how to actually access the tools provided by most of them.

In math terms, I'm way past arithmetic, pretty comfortable with trigonometry, but this feels like calculus, which seems to be waaay on the far horizon.

@scopique It says installed but when I search in VSC for the commands it adds, I get no results.

@scopique The extension is Class Extractor by KVXY. It's just a little QoL shortcut. It's not important if I can't use it, but it would be nice to not feel like a complete noob every time I want to venture out into the big scary world.

I walked in to talk to somebody right at 9:00 (when the office opens) and immediately accosted the maintenance supervisor. He was just about to call one of his higher-ups.

I made it quite clear (QUITE) that we need to be kept in the loop. Let us know something -- anything -- as soon as you can because we need to start making plans. Which plan we go with depends 100% on what they tell us, no middle ground.

Hey again, frens! How would YOU print this?

I printed horizontally the first time with necessary supports inside (through the center), but the space is so small I'm having trouble clearing the supports out.

I printed vertically the second time (with the text upright) so I only need supports on the bottom, but the tiny pointy ends messed up at the start and what I got of the print before I canceled it was just a glob.

Thoughts?

Hey frens, how do you draft something that attaches to an already-existing physical object?

Do you digitally scan the object in somehow (how? any app or hardware recommendations?), or do you digitally model a blank and do multiple iterations/test prints to tweak your design (seems time-consuming but satisfying)?

I spent 3 hours of trial-and-error last night replacing my phone screen so I could get full trade-in value when I send it back.

After several major blunders on my part, I finally have the thing all cabled up and working...and as I'm pushing the new screen into place, the corner of the glass crumbles like a saltine cracker.

sigh

ANOTHER new screen coming Saturday. At least I'm intimately familiar with the process now...?
