It would be nice if “smart” home devices fell under this category. If the devices software is the reason that the device fails to continue to work, then they should be held responsible, and made to remedy a fix…or full refund.
Private schools have different holidays to public schools, right? Does that mean when driving past a private school you need to know specifically if that school is on holiday or not? Or is it all done only on the public school terms?...
Private/non-government school holidays often vary from state/government school holidays.
There is no definitive set of school holiday dates that applies to every private school.
Please check with each individual school for accurate dates.
So pretty much what I am getting from this; where ever you plan to travel, the onus is on you to plan out and check with every private school that is on your path to your destination.
What a pain in the arse. If private schools get to deviate their holidays from public schools, shouldn’t they be the ones to be informing the general public?
Inability to use a digital wallet maybe? I wonder if the new card system would be able to integrate with Apple/Samsung/Google wallet. Easier to tap your phone then to pull a card out of your wallet or purse.
This is all hypothetical for on my part, as I can’t use public transport to get to and from work, I hardly ever go shopping and the grocery store is only 30 minute walk, or 5 minute drive for me.
Wow, that’s a lot of people speeding though school zones. If that doesn’t get people to slow down, don’t think the road work cameras will deter drivers either. All I can say, is that the TMR is going to have a massive influx of funds starting next month when the cameras go live.
If you are just after adding some green to the lawn, and not to fussed about two different grasses growing, I recommend Garden Basics 1kg Tough And Hardy Lawn Seed. I have had a lot of success with my lawn, either growing back grass from where I went scorched earth with weed killer, or growing grass back from removed garden beds. I got about 5-6 boxes of it, and sprinkled it around my front and back yard before we got all that rain here in Brisbane, plus a little bit of fertiliser to help.
Here are some photos of the growth, following from death by weed killer.
the LNP has indicated it intends to move to optional preferential voting in state elections as well, if they win the state election in October.
“But wait… we can make it worse!” - LNP
If they do not get voted in this October, we still have every future election for years to come to worry about this happening if they manage to win.
On a side note, I didn’t even realise that the local government election was optional preferential voting. I even numbered all the boxes because that has been ingrained in me since I started voting. Learn something new everyday.
