RandomVanGloboii,

This has been on the top posts ever in Reddit’s accidentalreinassance for years, definitely hasn’t been shot in 2022

It's not just Adobe. Now Logitech wants me to go to a random website in order to add peripherals to my computer, and I'm met with this when I go to the page they tell me to (lemmy.world)

As if it wasn’t bad enough that they want me to use a random internet service to add a keyboard to a usb wifi receiver, they have the balls to put this for Firefox users. I clicked out of pure curiosity, as I’m not even remotely interested in involving a corporate internet service in getting my keyboard connected to my...

RandomVanGloboii,

Yeah, it’s doable nowadays. There are many guides that can help you pick a distro and then install what you need. If you’re a beginner, usually Linux Mint is the one to go for, unless you have extremely recent hardware

RandomVanGloboii,

This happens on Windows, right? What would happen on Linux, would the keyboard still work as it gets connected?

Best options for Non-Google cloud storage as of 2022?

What are Lemmy’s feelings about the best cloud storage options these days, if you really want to break into the 1-2TB range? I’m not there yet, probably not even halfway there, but I like the peace of mind of potentially having the space if I need it. And I think subscribing to something in the Netflix price range is maybe...

RandomVanGloboii,

I’ve used pCloud for three years. Initially it is a lot, especially if you’re not sure if you will commit to them, but if you do, you have one less hidden big expenditure masked as subscription, which nowadays is valuable. I wish they released their Linux version through Flatpak and not Appimage, though

RandomVanGloboii,

Just write some fake address like aaaa@aaaaa.aa, works 99% of the time

RandomVanGloboii,

Zorin right now is based on Ubuntu 20.04 and GNOME 3.36, which are pretty much dated. If his friend has a gaming rig, it would be better to look for a more up to date distro

RandomVanGloboii,

Motivi personali che se scrivessi con questo nick potrebbero identificarmi irl

RandomVanGloboii,

Dovrei indagare come è posizionata per essere sicuro non sia troppo sensibile al cattivo tempo

RandomVanGloboii,

Se non trovo prezzi inferiori sceglierò loro

RandomVanGloboii,

Clap

Clap

Clap

Oh good. My slow clap processing has made it into this thing. So we have that.

RandomVanGloboii,

I have an Ideapad and Fedora has been the distro that has run it ever since

RandomVanGloboii,

La verità è che alla maggior parte gente non importa, purtroppo, perchè non percepiscono danni diretti alla loro vita

RandomVanGloboii,

Romania. Medieval villages, castles and mountains

RandomVanGloboii,

OnlyOffice, I think it has the most polished UI and the LanguageTool plugin is really handy

RandomVanGloboii,

I don’t care if monday’s blue, tuesday’s grey and wednesday too…

Web Analytics Italia trasferisce i dati dei siti delle PA ad Amazon: cosa rischiano i titolari del trattamento (e AgID)

@informatica

RandomVanGloboii,

Ma che, VERAMENTE?

RandomVanGloboii,

Well, here in Italy they complain a lot about pineapple on pizza but then eat ham on melon

RandomVanGloboii,

GNOME, despite the critiques it receives it's the most polished one and the one that gives me less problems
