Jupp. Men det känns som att vattenbristen har uppmärksammats, iaf i Stockholmsregionen, även om låga vattenflöden och grundvattennivåer påverkar i stort sett samtliga län på sydöstra sidan av landet.

Dead-easy, they aren’t locked to a permanent object, just move them behind the car, and then they’ll neither be stolen nor your fault if someone else parks their hoods into the bikes.
Move the offending bikes past the car

Another one was planned and given permission for today, Thursday, July 20th. So they were egged on beforehand.

Considering that it is stated that it helped in earlier stages (before they took the patients off donanemab), I don’t think they got as far as claiming it halted the progress. From the article I mainly had the impression that it slowed it enough in some patients to show some progress in the research. Still, this is hopeful, considering the other options that have been available thus far.

Sorry, I pressed reply in Voyager, but it ended up as a comment to my post instead of a reply to your comment.

This was a really interesting read.

Glamping - is it in any way better than pricey hotel rooms? (lemmy.world)

We had a couple of friends who took their families “glamping” a few weeks ago. They extolled the virtues of lower costs and the fabulous service, and even invited parts of our family to come stay with them for a couple of nights. This was not the first time we were invited to “glamping”, and it still left a bitter...

I should have said that this was just a sample pic. I didn’t want to expose certain places or certain friends.

In most places, there is usually a modern (but shared) loo with running water and black water sanitation. The last one we were at for a couple of nights was with a dry compost loo with wet matter separation. So all the glamping places we were at required a form of infrastructure for sanitation reasons.

On the other hand, when you’re camping traditionally you’re also supposed to use the sanitation infrastructure, which is either basic composting bins or dry/wet separated.

Interesting, I had never heard of or seen stainless steel litter boxes before.

It’s so funny that kitties have such different personalities and preferences, before we got our cats I thought they’d be more predictable, but alas, they are individuals. Good thing that you got them to like wood pellets for peeing, even though it defeats the purpose of the colour changing crystals. But the average cost will be fairly decent in the long run compared to crystal only.

From the ones we looked at, we would still have to vacuum/sweep twice daily and mop daily as it’s still a relatively low litter box. It’s probably a great idea for those who don’t have cats that love to eject litter material all over, as it’s supposedly good for containing and not reacting to ammonia.

But for some weird reason… If there were enclosed stainless steel litter boxes it would seem dystopic. Maybe just me.

“Malaco pastellfiskar” or “Malaco-fiskar” used to be a semi-popular candy, that lost their popularity in Sweden in the 1990’s. It surprised me and my family a lot when we were abroad, especially in they US (and the Bahamas(!?!?)) that they’d been so popular, as we Swedes didn’t like them much in general once we got more candy varieties to choose from.

I am mildly amused with the thought that anyone thought these bland, (very) vaguely fruit flavoured, gelly candies were in any way something that was appreciated in Sweden once we could get international imports.

The papers (and magazines) mainly printed in B&W. This is, as far as I know, a professional shoot as it was done with a higher resolution than many pics from then.

The colour photos my family took from this time need to be severely colour adjusted to not look as depressing milque/grey/beige colours when we scan them.

Thank you for the info. Would you call it a self-moderating system due to the rating scores?

The give boxes seem really nice.
