I’ll join the right handed person keeping the phone in my left pocket, in fact I left hand my phone, though if I need to it’s easier to use my right hand when I need it, current phones are just not well designed for one-handed use.
It was for watches originally but came to be used for coins once pocket watches went out of fashion, based on a cursory Google. I didn’t see any mention of it being named money pocket
I have started feeling a bit empathetic with age towards these people, even if this was probably a troll but to the people who don’t know how tech works it might as well be magic. Ignorance is bliss can also be applied here I guess.
