@Twoinchdestroya @casytay @UmbrellaTech By this logic, if you have ever played a violent video game and enjoyed it, you are a murderer who should be executed.

Society understands that simulated killing in art/movies/games doesn't make you a criminal. That it doesn't apply to other taboos is an illogical double standard.

They aren't harming anyone, no more than the creators of any video game or violent movie are.

Please try to evaluate your cultural biases before offering death threats.

@Type_Other @UmbrellaTech Just as the original Mortal Combat's primary appeal was pretty much exactly that, we can rationalize that finding fantasy depictions of taboo subject matter appealing or interesting doesn't equate to a moral alignment to it beyond the fantasy context.

Hundreds of millions of people play GTA games for the primary appeal of the horrible things you can do in the games, and 99.9% of them would never even think about doing those things outside of the context.
