Yes and I agree with you. Trump does not belong on the ballot. But you and I know for a fact that this is just going to give people an excuse to try and remove people from the ballot out of revenge. Trump and his followers attempted an insurrection so we all know how far they would go. You really think they wouldn’t just try and remove opponents from the ballot because they want to?
Brings me back to when EA was buying up companies just to milk them until there’s nothing left to give and then close the studios. It’s okay though. It’s not like these companies had employees with bills to pay, livelihoods, families, bills again, etc. it’s not like there are actually people behind the games we play that are struggling just as much as we are. That would be madness!
This time last year I was 29 years old, had no house, $7,000 of credit card debt, and made $21 an hour.
Right now I’m 30 years old, I have no house, $7,000 of credit card debt, and make $21 an hour.
Of course I’m unsatisfied. Because I know my hard work doesn’t pay off and all I’m doing is existing with no money or time left over for myself. I don’t give a single fuck about my job at this point besides doing the bare minimum. Which is pretty sad because I used to actually enjoy my job and would work as hard as I could.
Spoken like someone that has never felt the desperation and complete hopelessness that comes with housing insecurity. It’s probably one of the worst feelings I’ve ever felt and knowing there is nothing you can do about it makes it even worse. I’ve seen way worse things than self immolation because of getting evicted.
The thing with getting evicted is that if you don’t have any other options it could potentially ruin your entire life. I live paycheck to paycheck these days and if I lost my job it would create a domino effect that will completely undermine everything in my life. You could lose everything you own, lose your job, lose access to food, and even lose your own life because of it. Shelter is the first thing people prioritize when lost in the wilderness for a reason. Because without it you are basically fucked.
Now, I’m not saying this is a reasonable response to getting evicted. But at the same time, in that moment when you know you are about to potentially lose everything in your entire life, people get desperate.

Just look up Sam Altman on job replacement my dude. He doesn’t give a single fuck about anyone and just keeps going for the sake of progress. All he does is avoid questions and use buzzwords just like the rest of them. He sounds like Elon Musk 10 years ago before he stopped trying to hide the crazy.
You know the reason they wanna do this is make it hands off so they can ignore it. And it will work until the AI starts confidently giving people false advice and misinformation about what they need help with. If a human makes a mistake they can correct it. In a lot of cases with AI if it makes a mistake it will just double down. And if you have no human element to fact check it will just spiral downward while you ignore it. I just hope the AI starts telling people to cancel their services as the most effective way to solve their problems and they don’t even notice.
