Western comics are a crying shame. You don't really find the artstyle anywhere else, but the comics themselves are complete dogshit, have been for at least 20 years, and have no foreseeable upturn in the future

Nerissa's complaining about skirts in Japan not properly covering her "huge American ass". "I mean it's sexy but I don't wanna go out like that. I'll cause problems. You're right, I'll cause isekais!" "My ass is fat. My tits are huge. It's over."

She is an extremely... inelegant woman. She says fucking more than I do.

Turdicus,

@DrRyanSkelton Yeah she’s been a huge crude disappointment. I think I’ve seen her photo and it makes me just assume anytime any holo describes each other it’s just a big lie because she doesn’t have a huge ass or tits

Turdicus,

@DrRyanSkelton She pretends to be an unambiguous lesbian but then stops short. Just stop being gay faggotgirl, be normal, people already like you

>how it differs from gay jewish blood magic
Genuinely, I dont know anything in the slightest about that anyways. I do know what the Bible says though, at least on the whole.

Sorry for the delay, I had half of this typed up and accidentally closed the tab like an idiot.

So the TLDR of the entire Bible is this:

  • God created everything, including mankind - who was made in His image
  • Mankind separated itself from God and tainted the perfection of creation by Sin (rejection of God's Laws for Man), with a whole host of negative ramifications. Death being foremost among these
  • God loves Mankind so much that (insert the rest of John 3:16 here, I'm sure you know it), and wants us to be able to escape our Sin and return to Him.
The symbolism of "blood" is used constantly to help describe this throughout the Bible.

Also please keep in mind I'm HEAVILY summarizing the following and you should really look other places as well. The Bible is quite difficult to understand at times even for people who've spent their entire lives studying it, so you should look in multiple places (including mainly, the Bible itself) for more information.

Also to be clear, since I'm not aware of the extent of your knowledge of the Bible, I'm (heavily) summarizing the whole thing here to hopefully help.

In the Old Testament, blood was extremely important as the main way God had instructed that He be honored, and forgiveness for sins asked for, was through the "blood of bulls and goats" (animal sacrifices, detailed extensively in Leviticus, and other places in the OT). This system even predated when God had selected the Israelite people (through a promise to Abraham, the Patriarch of the entire line) to bring His Messiah into the world through them. This is the reason why God puts up with them constantly disobeying him throughout the entire OT - God had a promise to fulfill, and God does not break His promises! The sacrificing of bulls and goats was never enough to actually atone for sins, but God really does love mankind, so He never desired that we should go around sacrificing ourselves and paying the proper penalty (death) for sinning against Him. He desires that everyone should be saved and returned to Him! (1st Timothy Chapter 2 verses 3-4, though the sentiment is also stated numerous other places in the Bible)

In the New Testament, the prophesied Christ, descended of the line of the Israelite tribe of Judah, was fulfilled in Jesus. He acts as the ultimate and perfect sacrifice. The "debt" of all mankind's sins were pinned to Him and died with Him on the cross. He was then raised from the dead, and the New Testament age began - and the Old Laws were succeeded by the New Law that we are under now, that Jesus and his Apostles taught. Jesus, now ascended and in Heaven, fulfills the same role as the High Priest did in the Old Testament - interceding for the forgiveness of the sins of those under his charge to God. All the reasons why this is important are covered in the book of Hebrews - written to (you guessed it) Hebrew Christians. They were under pretty serious persecution and were considering leaving Christ and returning to the comfort of Judaism. The book explains why Christ is so much better than what the Israelites had under the old law (His blood was perfect after all, Christ lived a sinless life!), but also why it just isn't possible to go back. (see picrel for an excerpt from Hebrews chapter 7)

Ultimately, in the OT "blood" was quite literal. The blood of bulls and goats acted as a way to "wash" away sins. In the NT, the blood is usually more metaphorical. The Catholics believe in transubstantiation, that is: the 'fruit of the vine' and 'unleavened bread' taken during the Eucharist / Lord's Supper literally becomes part of the Blood and Body of Christ when partaken of. Protestants don't really believe this. Outside of this one issue of contention though, the NT is largely void of literal blood sacrifices after Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. This is because He acted as the final sacrifice necessary for mankind to return to the favor and presence of God - with the condition that we follow His laws in return for His infinite mercies and lovingkindness.

There's more to it than just this, but I hope this helps elucidate some of the blood metaphors you might run across without context.

Turdicus,

@merchantHelios Thank you this helps a lot

Is blood significant in Christianity in a way beyond the transubstantiation? I just only know of that and want to ask trusted racists if there is more

Turdicus,

@merchantHelios not very tbh

Turdicus,

@merchantHelios thank you, I just want to know how Christianity views blood or the significance of blood in the Bible and how it differs from gay jewish blood magic so I don’t blaspheme or something or act like a jew
