this is also supposedly a cover design for a future diy notebook idea I had in mind... well, if ever future me decides to work on it, idk LOL

I also tried another different artstyle; was going for a softer, handdrawn, scribble-like aesthetic or something? I don't know what this exact aesthetic is called, but I see it everywhere on notebook covers that have a soft girl aesthetic. ???

I was going through a phase today and really am starting to like grittier, darker-looking artstyles. I dont even know atp idk what else to do 😭💀
it's also another practice on adding details and taking things slow with drawing, alongside further developing a sense of fashion and style 🤪

Because of the many songs that released that year, and many of which are popular and cool pop songs and some pop songs I don’t really vibe with that much… these are the songs I recognize well (and discovered like a decade + few years further in my existence) and love enough to feature in here.

In terms of K-pop… well… it’s still like around late 1st to early 2nd gen I think so I couldn’t recommend or relate to much songs in that era. :((

The left page is pretty incomplete-looking?? It has four medium-sized brown flowers (magazine cutouts) with purple gemstones and two small white flowers that are gemstone stickers. It has a pink background made of sticky notes, embellished with a couple of small blue gemstones of various sizes. At the right has a photo of Wonyoung (IVE) with a playlist of songs - a mix of A7X and IVE songs with a doodled playback thingy like from music apps with the song "burn it down" being played. There's also a buncha stickers and stuff, like a strawberry - then a magazine cutout of a pixelart cherry, some sparkles from spare paper. There's also sticker letters and numbers stating "ive7x" continued with a handwriting saying "real???"
A collage of Rei and Leeseo, also members from IVE. Rei's collage has a sketched-on marker-textured backgrouns, with drawn stars of various sizes for a nighttime sky look. Rei's captioned as "the pretty savage". The collage also has a photo of her MINIVE mascot, Naori, who is a chick, but is captioned to be "actually a duck." Leeseo's collage is a mix of peach and golden yellow colors, with lots of heart and star stickers. "Cutie, awesome, lovely, CHAOTIC" with the last word being in capital letters, are her traits. Gaeul and Wonyoung's collages!! Gaeul's collage has more of a bluish/cyan-ish vibe, with lots of clouds and a sun. (The sun is made of magazine cutouts, AGAIN XD it's so hard to find pages with plain colors, but is def worth it) The quote on her collage is "reach for the sky" Wonyoung's collage, however, is a lot more classy and has a lot of lavender and purple colors (with a hint of gold and light yellow too!) She has three photos, with the middle one having a color-changing frame (from a packaging of a sticker set). It has flowers (packaging of washi tape) Her photo on top has her looking as if she's making a wish (and she's also on top of a cutout cloud (from a long ahh paper thingy you get from total prices from stores, I FORGOT THE NAME) and has the quote (very unreadable probs in the photo, but it says:) "Oh the moon and stars, will you heed my wish?" SORRY FOR NOT MAKING IT READABLE TT
Liz and Yujin's collage. Liz's collage is a lot simpler, with a plain white background done ala paper-maché style, with a doodle of a red rose with black leaves, and photos of Liz edited to give her darker-looking makeup, supposedly to resemble a more gothic style?? IDK Yujin's collage didnt have much changed, except for the addition of two leaves. It's still the same thing, with a brown paper background, some photos of plants and three photos of Yujin. "Yujin the fairy" and "she's just hiding her wings" are her captions.
This page has an envelope (made of a paper bag designed to look like one) with a made-up address and recipient name, alongside a couple of star and heart stickers. It has a pouch thingy to hold two photo cards: one of Wonyoung and another of Leeseo.
