Listening to a book…“Sapiens”. Author talked about how dependent kids are. How compared to other animals, our babies need alot of support in the early stages of life....
Sounds like we are in pretty different boats. I have siblings, nieces/nephews, neighborhood kids and friends kids in my life. I’m not sure how I’d choose to not have them in my life.
Anyway, you must have had plenty of positive influences in your life other than your parents? Surely your grateful for them?
On battle.net the Diablo Prime Evil Collection is on sale for $20. I don't really want to spend $70 on Diablo IV so I am considering this instead. Are the older games still worth playing?
I’m aware it won’t be restored and it’s not a big deal to me. But I can’t see myself running the risk again. If they had an offline mode or would restore characters that had lag, I would though. Seems like such an easy fix to get alot of people playing the game type they enjoy.
Personally, I could care less if people lied. I’m playing for me.
It didn’t use to be hardcore. We went backwards. D2 had offline mode. I have 0 expectation of them restoring my character, but I find it very hard to believe it isn’t possible. I just want to pressure them to change the system. Offline mode being the seemingly obvious, best choice.
If enough people expressed this, it is possible that some sort of compromise would be made. I never say never. Do you know why/how they became so averse to it?
It takes a village

Finish/Help my funny meme idea (lemmy.world)
First of all, I find this picture hilarious regardless of whatever. It was in a healthcare textbook, baby reflexes....
"Is that the joke?"
“That I farted and nobody barfed?”...
