Xanderill,

lol thanks…not sure why but “Hell yeah sibling!” just doesnt work does it?

Xanderill,

Thanks, yeah sounds wise to me. Im def planning on being very cautious. Thing is, I live in the country, surrounded by dirt roads so they will be my training grounds

Xanderill,

oh mann the freedom…now I just gotta git good

Xanderill,

Thanks! And yeah im pretty sure thats a typo in my favor. One of the pics is of the odometer.

Xanderill,

Thanks! Seems smart, I just messaged another dealer the same question.

Xanderill,

I appreciate the input. Youre not the first one to suggest such bikes. Ill revist the idea.

Xanderill,

Seems to me the two biggest personal changes one can make are related to diet and transportation.

Realize the destructive nature of the animal agriculture industry, as well as the automobile industry and adjust accordingly.

Go vegan, and swap car for ebike. Hopefully inspiring others to do the same eventually.

Xanderill,

If youre talking strictly about emissions being impacted, what youre saying is close enough to accurate, still, it would make a difference, only a small one. The thing is theres a long list of destructive effects of these two industries, therefore, not supporting them reduces there harm in many more ways than just emissions.

Xanderill,

Not true. For example, people with epilepsy use to be considered demon possessed, and were sometimes executed. This happened for at least thousands of years. There’s a ridiculously long list of examples of how we have come far.

Xanderill,

Just reality. I thought it was pretty clear but I’ll say it anyway, it’s angry about deforestation, with a particular emphasis on old trees, hundreds, setumes thousand year old lynchpins in an already devastated ecosystems.

Xanderill,

2 big problems with that statement. 1st, it’s being harvested at a much greater rate than it’s being replenished. Second, old trees and old forests are far more valuable to the ecosystem than the cookie cutter “forests” planted after harvests.

Xanderill,

Youre wrong

Xanderill,
Xanderill,

Glad to hear it’s going well in Western Europe, but that’s far from the norm.

My point is trees are much more than wood.

Xanderill,

Burying lines may or may not be progress. That’s not what I said

Xanderill,

I ride 40mins, twice a day by ebike through mostly dirt/country roads. When weather is good, its great. Less so when rainy but still partially enjoyable. Only real concern is cars…and to be fair, deer. See them every morning, usually close up. Join me in the ebike revolution

A spooky season old movie recommendation! They Live (1988) (lemmy.world)

This is one of those movies that invite you into a new language once you see it. Amazing in both its effectiveness and hilarious camp. It almost contains the greatest fist fight scene of all time. But it’s not just a movie to be gawked at, It’s a movie to be savored....

Xanderill,

Yes! Loved this movie. If yall haven’t seen the modern version, it is also awesome. “They cloned Tyrone”, netflix only I think?
